Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports excellent organization of forthcoming elections abroad

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bulgarian consular missions abroad have successfully managed with the task of organizing the elections abroad. Everything concerning the organization and logistics has been completed. This was reported by the "Elections" working group of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at a briefing related to the parliamentary and presidential elections on November 14.

"Premises and technical means have been provided, the ballots have been sent, the machines are on their way and in many places they have already arrived," the group's chairman, Ivan Kondov said.

There will be a total of 751 polling stations in 68 countries. Machine voting will take place in 21 countries. The biggest number of voting machines abroad is in Turkey - 96.
