121 Covid deaths reported in the past day

3,869 is the number of new Covid-19 cases registered in the country in the past 24 hours out of 41,242 tests performed, a positivity rate of 9.4%, Single Coronavirus Portal data show. 85% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated.

111,662 is the number of active cases in the country. The number of hospitalizations has gone down – from 7,924 to 7,737, but the number of patients being treated in intensive care wards is up – from 725 to 767. The number of new hospitalizations in the past day is 779, more than 88% of them among the unvaccinated.

There is a slight decline in the number of coronavirus patients who have died in the past day, though the number remains high – 121. More than 90% of these deaths are among the unvaccinated, 4,193 is the number of recoveries reported.

22,153 doses of vaccine were administered on Tuesday. 1,647,300 is the number of people in the country now fully vaccinated.
