Bulgaria reports 73 Covid-19 deaths in past day

733 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 13,936 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg indicate. 5.25% of the tests have returned positive result. The fourteen-day morbidity stands at less than 900 cases per 100,000 people. 73 people have died in the past 24 hours. 87% of them were non-vaccinated. 974 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past 7 days.

223 patients have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 87% of the new hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated. A total of 7,357 patients are being treated in hospital as 760 of them are in intensive care units. 835 people have been reported cured in the past day.

4,544 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria on Sunday. 1,693,392 is the number of people in the country who are now fully vaccinated. 61,835 people have had a booster dose.
