Bulgaria seeks to take an active part in the work of the World Tourism Organization

At the 24th General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization, UNWTO, Minister of Tourism Stella Baltova acquainted UNWTO Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili with Bulgaria’s plans to host the 68th meeting of the Regional Commission Europe in 2023. The decision which country is to host the forum is to be taken at the 67th meeting in Armenia in 2022.

Minister Baltova also stated Bulgaria’s wish to apply for a mandate in the Online Education Committee of the organization. Both proposals were welcomed and all participants in the meeting agreed that this country’s contribution will be of benefit, Minister Baltova said.
