Bulgaria has a significant potential in developing wine tourism, this country‘s caretaker Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Yavor Gechev said at a discussion themed "Trends in tourism and tourists’ new preferences for green and sustainable products."
Deputy Minister Gechev announced that between 50 and 100 Bulgarian wineries will join a pilot project for voluntary traceability standard and will be promoted around the world. The project is under an agreement signed with the International Organization of Vine and Wine.
