UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters from the US ground forces will fly through Bulgarian airspace on 8 and 9 December, as they are redeploying from Greece to Romania. They will land, in transit, at Novo Selo training area and at Burgas airport.

The flights in the region of Burgas are planned for 8 AM-6 PM. The crews will follow standard noise reduction procedures, and will follow pre-set and approved routes.

The flights are part of the rotation of personnel and equipment of the American army in implementation of the Atlantic Resolve operation for strengthening NATO’s Eastern flank.
