Weather forecast for Thursday, 9 December

Temperatures go up before a new portion of rain

Thursday will begin with minimum temperatures of 9° C. below zero in some parts of Western Bulgaria, and up to 4° C. on the Black Sea coast. During the day there will be sun. In some parts of the Upper Thracian Plain there will be fog. Clouds will gather in the afternoon from the West. A moderate wind from the West will push up daytime temperatures to 3°-4° C. in the areas with permanent fog, and up to 13° C. in Eastern Bulgaria. For the region of Sofia – 6° C.

Over the mountains there will be sun. In the afternoon the clouds will increase from the West but no rain is in the forecast. Daytime highs at an altitude of 1,200 m. will reach around 7° C., at 2,000 m. 2° C.

On Friday daytime temperatures will go up slightly, but there will be rain over the entire territory of the country.
