Pandemic indicators are declining across Bulgaria

Bulgaria has registered 532 new cases of coronavirus in the country during the past 24 hours. They are 541 less than on Saturday. 83% of new infections are among unvaccinated citizens. A little over 4% are the positive samples out of 12,771 tests performed, according to the portal coronavirus.bg

On a 14-day basis, 27 districts in the country are in the red zone of incidence from 250 to 500 cases per 100,000 population. Only Ruse district remains above this threshold with 517 cases per 100,000 people.
The registered active patients are 97,575. 173 persons are newly admitted to hospitals. 92% of them have not been vaccinated. A total of 5,316 patients are currently hospitalized as 629 of them are in intensive care. Compared to last Monday, the decline in hospitalization is by over 800 people, and in intensive care cases by 45 patients.
In the last 24 hours, 50 people with established Covid have died. 47 of them were not immunized.
3,704 vaccine jabs were administered on Sunday. 1,839,666 people have completed immunization. There are 170,081 people with the third dose.
