The first order, if I am elected Prime Minister, will be for everyone in the Council of Ministers to have a green certificate, said in his programme speech in the National Assembly the nominee for Prime Minister Kiril Petkov. He began by saying, "Today is an important day to continue the change - change of our mindset and the change in governance," and outlined the priorities of the new cabinet.

In the energy sector the aim is to avoid an increase in the price of electricity for household consumers from January 1, as well as to increase diversification so that Bulgaria is not dependent on anyone. In healthcare, the main task is to fight the Covid crisis by stepping up voluntary vaccination.
The motto of the future cabinet will be “Zero tolerance for corruption.” From the parliamentary rostrum, Kiril Petkov called on the opposition to support constitutional changes so that Bulgaria could have a true and fair justice system.
