President Radev to former caretaker Premier Yanev: You have demonstrated that a new type of government is possible

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev met with the members of the caretaker cabinet. He thanked them for their good will, courage and zeal. 

"You, Mr. Yanev, have demonstrated that a new type of governmenis possible- transparent and uncompromising", this country’s head of state said in his address to the former caretaker Prime Minister Stefan Yanev who was appointed as Minister of Defense in the new cabinet.

In President Radev’s words, the caretaker cabinet has uncovered the money laundering scheme regarding the construction of Hemus motorway, managed to contain the fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic, managed the energy crisis and stopped the vicious practices in the State Fund Agriculture. "Change is needed, people are waiting for reforms," ​​President Radev added.
