Most Bulgarians feel optimistic about upcoming 2022

Only 14% of Bulgarians rate 2021 as good for Bulgaria, according to a study by Trend Agency, commissioned by the 24 Chasa daily.

Despite the difficulties due to the Covid pandemic, 55% of respondents said they were happy in 2021. The youngest in the largest share, almost 75 percent, say they were happy. Compared to the results of the same question in the last 3 years, in 2021 Bulgarians were happier than in 2020, but less happy than in 2019.

46% of the participants in the survey have a positive assessments for the past year on a personal level while for 42% it was a bad year.

For the new 2022, Bulgarians are full of optimism. 47% believe that better days await the country.
