Rumen Spetsov neither confirms nor denies that National Revenue Agency is investigating Lukoil for tax evasion

Rumen Spetsov, head of the National Revenue Agency neither confirmed nor denied that the Agency was investigating whether Lukoil is evading taxes in this country. In an interview for Nova TV he stated that the Agency was investigating a Russian oil company which has declared losses in this country and profits in offshore zones.

“In the period from 2008 until 2015 the company reported major losses, and in 2016-2017 – profits, then losses again, and other companies were used from a world group to form profits and take them out of Bulgaria,” Rumen Spetsov added.
