The exchange and the Electricity System Operator explained to BNR that up to 600 megawatt hours of electricity are currently imported from Greece, thus using the maximum connectivity capacity.

At the same time, Bulgaria exports about 1,800 megawatt hours, most of it to Romania and the rest to Serbia, North Macedonia and Greece.
