The health authorities are considering setting down the administering of a booster shot against coronavirus six months after the second dose, Chief State Health Inspector Angel Kunchev announced. The decision was made after garnering information from more than half of the countries members of the EU.
“Things are very motley, in different countries the number of months is different but obviously, as the situation with Omicron is developing it has to be done,” Angel Kunchev said, and added that the decision is up to the National Immunoprophylaxis Council which is expected to hold a meeting next week.
