Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 26 December 2021

Warm and cloudy weather with occasional showers expected on Sunday

On Sunday the clouds will be significant. In places in Northern and Western Bulgaria it will rain lightly. It will be foggy along the Danube. A moderate southwest wind will blow north of the mountains and in southeastern Bulgaria. The minimum temperatures in the valleys and in Northeastern Bulgaria will be around zero. In other places it will be between 2 and 7 °C. In areas with persistent fog, maximum temperatures will be up to 8 °C. In the southern regions daytime highs ​​will reach 13-15 °C, in Sofia they are expected to up to 10 °C.
It will also be cloudy over the mountains. There will be light snowfall over some western massifs, below 1,700 meters it will rain.  The maximum temperature at 1,200 m will be up to 8 °C, at 2,000 m around 2 °C.
On Monday the temperatures will stay high for the season.
