Weather forecast for 1 January: 2022 begins with springtime temperatures

New Year’s Eve will be clear in Western Bulgaria, over the Eastern part of the country there will be significant clouds. Minimum temperatures will range from 0° C. to 5° C., for Sofia 1° C. 

On the first day of the new year there will be changeable clouds, considerable in the Eastern part of the country and over the mountains, but no significant precipitation is in the forecast. In the Danubian Plain and in the Western portion of the Upper Thracian Plain there will be a strong Northwesterly wind. Maximum temperatures 10° C. - 15° C., for Sofia 12° C.

Over the mountains there will be changeable clouds, with occasional showers. There will be a tempestuous wind from the Northwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. 8° C., at 2,000 m. around 2° C. 

On Sunday the weather will continue unchanged.
