As of January 24, a green certificate or a negative Covid-19 test will be mandatory for entry into the National Assembly building. This decision was supported, after a 5-hour debate in plenary today, by We Continue the Change, GERB-SDS, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, the Bulgarian Socialist Party and Democratic Bulgaria.

There Is Such a People and Vazrazhdane did not take part in the vote, so, ultimately, 153 MPs voted “for”, 0 – “against”, and 4 abstained. The members of parliament will have to pay for their rapid antigen tests themselves.
