Real estate agents warn that the rates at which real estate prices are going up in Bulgaria are outpacing the rise in household incomes, and that this could result in an inability to pay off credits.

The new construction market is beginning to get back to normal unless the rise in the prices of building materials continues. Analysts say that if, by mid-2022 interest rates start to rise, that would be the first indication that the price escalation rate will probably slow down.
