Nearly 12% of the tests have returned positive result. 73% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-1,052, followed by Burgas-349 and Varna-322.
5.009 patients are being treated in hospital, including 517 in intensive care units. 226 patients were admitted to hospital in the past day. 83% of the new hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated.
