Once again the first heavy snow of the season left towns and villages in the district of Vratsa without electricity.
There are power outages in the municipalities of Vratsa, Mezdra and Krivodol. The situation is most critical in the biggest village in Vratsa municipality – Zgorigrad, where BNR listeners report that the power has been out since last night. The village’s electricity supply comes via a power line which is in disrepair and that is the cause of frequent outages, the locals say.
