Tomorrow, the Council of Ministers votes on a proposal by the Pandemic Council for a new model of managing the Covid crisis. It is envisaged that the crisis will be managed not on the basis of the total percentage of patients in the population, but experts will take into account what part of the population suffers serious health conditions caused by Covid complications. The percentage of free beds in intensive care wards will be leading in the plan. This is what Lena Borislavova, head of the Prime Minister's Office has told BNT. She added that the cabinet was working on a model that would postpone the need for a full or regional lockdown.
