A number of exhibitions, forums, plein airs, film, music and sand festivals are part of the events that will take place until the end of August this year in Balchik. The rich cultural programme already began in early January, and by the end of the month visitors to Balchik can see the exhibition "Palace Mysticism", including paintings from the collection of the Cultural Centre "The Palace".

Until the end of March, the exhibition "Birds - Heavenly Messengers or What?" will present exhibits from the Historical Museum in Pomorie.

Among the events that are eagerly awaited in Balchik are the plein air "Contemporary Artists of Balchik" which is scheduled to take place from 20 to 27 May. The months of July and August are reserved for the guest appearances of two musicals - "Grease" and "Orchestra without a Name", as well as the ballet productions of "Romeo and Juliet" and "Scheherazade". Again in August, for the fans of Latin rhythms, a Summer Latin Fiesta has been scheduled with the participation of the famous Bulgarian choreographer and dancer Alfredo Torres.
