Bulgaria’s health authorities are considering tightening the anti-epidemic measures in some districts, this country’s Chief Health State Inspector Associate Professor Angel Kunchev announced. The national task force against the spread of Covid-19 is monitoring the dynamic situation in Sofia, Sofia-district, Plovdiv, Blagoevgrad, Pernik, Vidin, Burgas and Stara Zagora districts, where coronavirus morbidity is highest. The new anti-epidemic measures will be adopted on January 21.

Restaurants, catering establishments and entertainment facilities are expected to operate at 50% capacity. They are to work until 10.00 pm, and will require green certificate.

Students from the fifth grade up are expected to switch over to distance learning until the mid-term break, or to shift to rotational learning.
