Highest morbidity rates are reported in Sofia, Blagoevgrad, Pernik, Stara Zagora and Burgas districts, where new anti-epidemic measures are to be introduced in five days. Our decision to impose restrictions is not only based on the occupancy rate of intensive care beds. We also take into account other factors such as the age groups affected by the virus, the outpatient treatment of Covid-19 and the level of severity of the virus. So far, we are not planning to abolish the green certificate issued to people with antibodies, Minister Serbezova added.
As of February 1, 2022, green certificates will be valid for 9 months, which is in line with the recommendations of the European Commission. The enthronement of the newly elected Bulgarian Patriarch, Metropolitan Daniil of Vidin, is over.
