According to preliminary information, Bulgaria’s Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev, this country’s Premier Kiril Petkov and Bulgaria’s Minister of Justice Nadezhda Yordanova are to attend the forthcoming hearing in Brussels organized by the European Parliament’s LIBE Democracy, Rule of Law and Fundamental Rights Monitoring Group, MEP Elena Yoncheva said for the BNR.

"The hearing will enable the new government and the Prosecutor General to present their plans on how to emerge from the crisis regarding the rule of law", Elena Yoncheva said. She emphasized that the forthcoming hearing at the European Parliament is important, because the European Commission links the EU funds with the rule of law.
