Bulgarians living abroad do not intend to return to their home country permanently, the results of a survey conducted by the popular brain gain community Tuk Tam show.

Those who do not rule out such a possibility say it may happen in the long term. Bulgarians abroad are calling for legislative amendments that would give them more opportunities to participate at elections.

''We have registered a 25% voter turnout abroad", Dimitar Ivanov from the Bulgarian Election Volunteers Network announced.

The poll was conducted among 2,500 Bulgarians in 80 countries.
