Bulgaria and Italy discuss defense cooperation

Bulgaria’s Minister of Defense Stefan Yanev and the Ambassador of Italy to Bulgaria Giuseppina Zarra discussed possibilities for developing bilateral relations in the field of defense, the press center of the Ministry of Defense announced. 

Minister Yanev and Ambassador Zarra discussed prospects for military-technical cooperation, as well as topical issues related to NATO’s unity and the efforts aimed to strengthen the security of the Alliance's eastern flank. The implementation of the projects for modernization of the Bulgarian Armed Forces is of key significance, Minister Stefan Yanev said at the meeting.
