Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 29 January 2022

Mild winter weather expected in Bulgaria in the weekend

On Saturday morning, the minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will be between minus 6 and minus 1 °C, in the high fields of Western Bulgaria - down to minus 9 °C, in the capital Sofia - around minus 6 °C.

During the day, the moderate wind from the west will break the clouds over the southern regions. It will be sunny all over the country. The maximum temperatures tomorrow will be between 3 and 8 °C, in Sofia - around 2 °C.

Above the mountains cloudy spells are expected and in some places there will be snowfall. Moderate northwesterly winds are expected. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be around minus 6 °C, at 2,000 m - around minus 9 °C.

On Sunday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly by 2-3 °C.
