The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-1,523, followed by Burgas-758 and Varna-643.
5,684 patients are being treated in hospital, as 513 of them are in intensive care units. More than 81% of the newly admitted patients are unvaccinated. 33 people with established coronavirus infection have died. None of them was immunized against Covid-19. 899 people have been reported cured in the past day. The number of active cases reached 238,955.
