UNESCO to promote Bulgaria’s coastal town of Nessebar

A joint project of the Bulgarian National Television and UNESCO will promote Bulgaria’s cultural heritage in 5 languages. The coastal town of Nessebar will be promoted first through a film from the year-long programme titled “The Next 50: World Heritage as a source of resilience, humanity and innovation”. Traveler and explorer Kitin Munoz is the scriptwriter and director of the film of the public broadcaster.

 The film will be dubbed in Spanish, French, English and Arabic. It will be distributed by the UNESCO’s communication channels. 

The Ancient City of Nessebar is a place where many civilizations left their tangible traces. The film series will present 17 sites from Bulgaria's tangible and intangible heritage, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
