Vaccinated people in Bulgaria break 2 million mark, 9,152 new daily Covid-19 cases reported

9,152 is the number of newly registered coronavirus cases out of 35,040 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 26.2%,Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 75.4% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated.

255,422 is the number of active cases in the country, up by 4,606 from the previous day.

797 is the number of new hospital admissions, 84.6% of them are among the unvaccinated. 5,917 patients are being treated in hospital, 128 up from the previous day. 565 are being treated in intensive care units.

87 patients with established coronavirus have died in the past day, 75 of them were not vaccinated.

4,578 is the number of recoveries reported in the past 24 hours.

8,570 doses of vaccine were administered on Wednesday. At 2,003,025, the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle in the country has now broken the 2 million mark. 620,413 have taken a booster shot.
