The Committee on Legal Affairs in the European Parliament refused to revoke the immunity of MEP from the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, Elena Yoncheva, BNR correspondent Angelina Piskova reported.
The decision is expected to be voted in plenary hall in the period February 14 - February 17. The members of the committee justified their decision with Yoncheva's statement that the legal procedure against her aimed to hamper her political activity, as well as her activity as an MEP.
