Prosecutor's Office to run check on persons on PM Kiril Petkov’s list

The Prosecutor's Office has announced that it would request all the information available in the Ministry of Interior about 19 people pointed by Prime Minister Kiril Petkov as possible perpetrators of criminal activities and economic crimes. Information on the case was provided yesterday by Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev, as well.

Upon entering the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor's Office, the Prime Minister said he was carrying a folder of publicly-known materials related to people against whom the Prosecutor's Office had not launched investigation.

According to Lena Borislavova, head of Prime Minister Petkov's office, attacks were being launched against the government on several fronts, indicating that it was on the right track to restoring law and justice.
