Covid-19 recoveries exceed the newly-confirmed cases in the past day

6,278 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 27,998 tests performed, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 76% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 22.4% of the tests have returned positive result.

The number of active cases of Covid-19 has decreased by 443 to 261,909. 681 patients have been admitted in hospital in the past day. 84.4% of them were not immunized. 6,238 patients are being treated in hospital, as 601 of them are in intensive care units.

75 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past 24 hours. 64 Covid-related deaths are among the unvaccinated. 6,645 people have been reported cured.

8,320 vaccines were administered on Thursday. 2,023,316 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle.
