Nearly 500,000 students are attending school this week. This is over 72% of the students in the country, the Bulgarian Ministry of Education announced. They point out that this is due to easing of anti-epidemic measures in some areas. The rest conduct their classes in an electronic environment.

According to official data from the Ministry of Health, there are 9.62% fully-vaccinated high-school students, while 17.46% of students in grades 5 to 12 have encountered Covid-19 in the past six months. Antigen tests have been provided for examination of students once a week.
