Bulgaria reports 20% positivity rate for Covid-19 in past day

Bulgaria has recorded a total of 5,023 new cases of Covid-19 in the past day. According to the National Coronavirus Information Portal, 20% of the 25,067 tests performed returned a positive result. Most new cases are in Sofia - 1,016, Varna - 757, Plovdiv - 455 and Burgas - 386.

The number of hospitalized patients is 5,639, of which 594 are in intensive care units. The number of new hospital admissions is 639, as 83.88% of them are with non-vaccinated citizens. 
93 people have died in the last 24 hours, as 89.25% of them were not vaccinated. 5,078 recoveries were reported yesterday.
The number of people immunized during the last 24 hours is 5,407. There are already 2,032,358 people with a completed vaccination cycle in Bulgaria, and 663,265 with three doses.
