Ministry of Foreign Affairs: No Bulgarians among UN staff abducted in Yemen

There are no Bulgarian citizens among the abducted UN officials in Yemen, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. A statement from the ministry reads that the Bulgarian embassy in Riyadh reported that there were no Bulgarians among the abducted UN staff in Yemen.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said this after checking information about a kidnapped Bulgarian in Yemen, published by several media outlets. According to reports, the act was work of al-Qaeda.
