Arrangements have been made to help Bulgarians who want to leave Ukraine, Anton Kisse, Chairman of the Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine, said for the BNT. "I spoke with Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev to determine the rules relating to the travel of ethnic Bulgarians. Mainly children, women and seniors will travel to Bulgaria, because Ukrainian males aged 18-60 are banned from leaving the country", Anton Kisse explained.

The Bulgarian embassy in Kiev has reacted adequately. Four buses are travelling to Ukraine to evacuate Bulgarians, the Director of the Press Cervice of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mitko Dimitrov said.

3 busses with 150 Bulgarians are expected to leave Odessa on Friday. Evacuation will also continue on February 26, the Bulgarian Consul in Odessa Kiril Apostolov said for Nova TV.
