Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is doing its utmpost to provide a corridor for evacuation of Bulgarians from Kyiv. The Bulgarian Embassy in Kyiv is in constant contact with the Bulgarian nationals. A bus with 27 Bulgarians crossed the Isakca-Orlivka border checkpoint at the Romania-Ukraine border, Bulgaria’s Ambassador to Romania Radko Vlaykov said for the BNR.

Two buses and dozens of cars with Ukrainian refugees entered Bulgaria via the Durankulak-Vama Veche border crossing on February 27. One of the busses was covering the regular bus line Odessa-Varna-Odessa and the second one was sent by the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
