Negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations have begun in Belarus. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow would not announce its official position. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is skeptical of achieving a breakthrough.

Bulgaria is joining other EU and NATO countries that will support Ukraine with humanitarian aid and military-logistical support, Bulgaria's Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said. There is a list of requests from the Ukrainian side, which are currently being analyzed. We can fulfill some of them, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Assen Vassilev told Nova TV.

I will not resign, but I leave this decision to the coalition partners, wrote in his social profile the Bulgarian Minister of Defence Stefan Yanev. The co-ruling party Democratic Bulgaria called for Yanev's resignation over his unwillingness to define the Russian attack on Ukraine as a war.

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell defined as gigantic irresponsibility President Vladimir Putin's order to put Russia's nuclear forces on high alert because of the Western aid to Ukraine. Borrell emphasized that this would not prevent the EU from doing what was necessary.

EU foreign ministers have decided to provide Ukraine with weapons worth 500 m euros, including fighter jets and fuel. For the first time, the EU will finance the supply of weapons to the attacked country.
