Next, we bring you an interview with Prof. Ivaylo Dichev, professor of cultural anthropology at Sofia University, on the eve of Bulgaria’s National Day on March 3, who believes that Bulgarians suffer from a national complex of gratitude to Russia. 

Also, we mark today the holiday of Baba Marta, Grandma March, giving each other martenitsas for health and peace, so our song of the day is dedicated to this much-loved folk tradition here.
