Bulgaria reports a drop in new daily infections, active cases and hospitalizations

Bulgaria has recorded 2,274 new cases of coronavirus in the country for the last 24 hours. Newly infected people dropped by 367 compared to the day before. ¾ of the newly infected are not vaccinated. 12.1% of the 18,771 tests performed returned positive result, data of the National Coronavirus Information Portal show.

The number of actively registered patients decreased by 2,237 and was 212,472. The number of newly admitted patients is 330. 83.6% of them arenot vaccinated. The number of hospitalized also decreased by 192 patients and is now 3,460. 447 patients are in intensive care.

In the last 24 hours, 59 people have died with an established Covid-19 infections. 4,452 recoveries were reported.

2,799 vaccine doses were administered on Wednesday.
