The state will enter the grain market and will buy the necessary quantities to meet the needs of the population, the Advisory Council on Grain decided at a meeting with Prime Minister Kiril Petkov. In this way, farmers will be able to sell their products and there will be no shortages in the Bulgarian market. The mechanism by which the state should buy the grain is to be specified.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed that the cabinet aims to help farmers so that they can produce not only raw materials but also products with high added value.
Kiril Petkov called on people in the sector to report if they have information about abuses, as this is in the interest of all parties.
