Bulgaria reports 1,388 new daily infections, 70% of them among non-vaccinated citizens

During the last 24 hours, 1,388 cases of coronavirus have been identified from the 10,700 tests performed, data from the National Coronavirus Information Portal show. 13% of the tests gave a positive result. 

70% of the new infections are among non-vaccinated citizens. Most new cases are recorded in Sofia - 343, in Varna - 226, and in Burgas - 205. 
There are 3,175 patients in hospital currently, with 416 of them in intensive care units. 91% of the newly admitted patients are not vaccinated. 
21 people died in the past day as 86% of them were not vaccinated. 
The active cases number 211,620. 
Yesterday, 849 doses of coronavirus vaccines were administered. 2,048,860 people have completed immunization. 694,408 also have a booster dose.
