Hospitalized Covid patients are now less than 3,000

2,462 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Bulgaria for a day, which is 1,947 cases more on a daily basis. Over 74 percent of the newly infected are non- vaccinated citizens. 11% of 21,858 tests returned positive result, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

The number of registered active coronavirus cases reached 207,723. The number of hospitalized patients decreased by 206 to 2,966 as 374 patients need intensive care. 362 infected people were admitted to hospitals, as over 85% of them were not immunized.

91 Covid patients died in the past day. 81 of them were non-vaccinated citizens. The number of recoveries reached 5,894. On Monday, the number of administered vaccines was 2,105.
