Covid-19 recoveries exceed the newly-confirmed cases in the past day

523 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 4,881 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg show. 73.6% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 10.7% of the tests have returned positive results.

The number of active cases has decreased with 243 to 198,844. 65 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 48 of them were not immunized. 2,592 patients are being treated in hospital, as 344 of them are in intensive care units.

14 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day. 13 of them were unvaccinated. 752 people were reported cured. A mere 290 vaccine doses were administered on Sunday.
