Number of new coronavirus cases grows

There were 2,433 new coronavirus cases registered in the country in the past day, which is a rise of 1,910 compared to Monday. Over 70% of the newly infected are non-vaccinated citizens. More than 12 percent of 20,013 tests were positive, according to the coronavirus.bg portal

The total number of registered patients decreased by 2,523 to 196,321. The number of new hospitalizations reached 299. The number of hospitalized patients decreased by 189 to 2,592 as 311 of them are in intensive care.

During the day, 64 Covid patients lost their lives; 54 of them were not vaccinated. The number of recoveries reached 4,892. A total of 1,853 vaccines were administered on Monday.
