Pre-trial proceedings have been instituted against former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, his PR assistant Sevdelina Arnaudova and former Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov for extortion between 2015 and 2019. According to the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office, the supervising prosecutor in the case of Boyko Borissov has already been appointed, but his name has not been announced.
