There is no direct military threat to Bulgaria: Minister of Defense

There is no direct military threat to Bulgaria, this country’s Minister of Defense Dragomir Zakov assured before the meeting of the National Assembly Committee on Foreign Policy. However, Minister Zakov noted that there were some risks and that Bulgaria needed to take all necessary measures to protect itself. 

For her part, Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska noted that the refugee flow is expected to increase, because more than 10 million Ukrainians are displaced inside their country, but they may decide to flee Ukraine. At this stage, the Council of Ministers is discussing mainly humanitarian action.
