The number of Ukrainian citizens seeking asylum in Bulgaria is 56,660, 22,000 of whom are children.
In a joint humanitarian action by the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria and the Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine, 49 Ukrainians of Bulgarian origin were evacuated from Mariupol.
